U.S. News & World Report singles out Thiel College as a top regional college in Northwestern Pa.

Thiel College was ranked as the top school in northwestern Pennsylvania overall and recognized for the social mobility of its graduates among the Regional Colleges in the North in the 36th edition of U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges rankings, released recently.

Thiel College community and virtual event combining for Heart Walk

Thiel College was scheduled to be a host site for the American Heart Association Heart Walk at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Due to the pandemic, the in-person portion of the event has been canceled for off-campus groups, but campus groups will meet at the The Dr. Barry ’70 and Carol (Yeager) Stamm ’71 Track & Field Complex and walk an approximately two-mile path through downtown Greenville and ending at the Quad.

On Friday, Sept. 11, members of the Thiel College fraternity Kappa Sigma were joined by two volunteer firefighters from a nearby department to take part in a symbolic walk at the Town of Greenville’s Plimpton Graul Amphitheater in Riverside Park in memory of the first responders who perished in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
