GREENVILLE, Pa.—Kara Sokol ’23, of Sutersville, Pa. was named the Office of Admission Thiel Team Member of the Month for October.
Sokol is majoring in accounting and is a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. She graduated from Yough Senior High School in 2019.
“If I had to pick just one thing about Thiel that was my favorite, it would be the people,” Sokol said. “Professors go out of their way to meet with you if you need extra help. Thiel creates this atmosphere of people who are just kind and will help. It’s my absolute favorite thing!”
The Thiel Team comprises students employed by the Office of Admission. The students primarily serve as ambassadors for prospective students and their families, but they are also responsible for a variety of other jobs and including work on mailings, market research, telemarketing, event support, and other administrative, professional, and office duties.
