Dotun Akinwale was focused, calculated and persistent during his collegiate career at Thiel. When he was not in the Academic Center laboring for his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, he was working out in the Paul Bush '66 Memorial Fitness Center to prepare for basketball season on the hardwood floor of the Beeghly Gymnasium.

The highly anticipated "Take Down Cancer" wrestling match between Greenville High School and Reynolds High School is set for Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Thiel College's Beeghly Gymnasium. The match is the second in an anticipated series of athletic events to be hosted by Thiel College between the two local high schools.

Thiel College will welcome four outstanding former student-athletes into its Athletic Hall of Fame, Director of Athletics Jack Leipheimer '74 announced on Wednesday. The Hall's 34th induction class will include Patsy Combine '70 (football), Les McClimans '72 (men's golf), and Don Walters '71 (football).

The 44th annual Phi Theta Phi Fraternity Walk-a-thon for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh's Free Care Fund is Dec. 6 and 7. Over the course of the event's history, Phi Theta Phi has raised more than $1.25 million for the fund. This year's goal is $40,000.
