Thiel College launches new online platform to connect the members of the Thiel network

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel Connect is a new online platform that provides the latest and easiest way to keep alumni, students, faculty and staff members and friends of the College linked together for social and professional connections.

 “We’re excited to provide this game-changing resource to the Thiel College community. We are inviting anyone with a connection to the College to be a part of the new Thiel Connect platform,” Vice President of College Advancement Roberta Leonard said. “This exciting opportunity connects our community in simple, convenient and new ways. Alumni can look up friends based on geography or interest. Being connected to the right network is invaluable when it comes to getting ahead professionally. This platform allows Thiel students to be connected to our most influential and valuable alumni from the first day they enroll at Thiel.”

Members of Thiel Connect will be able to:

  • Connect with other alumni and current students
  • Stay informed on what is happening on campus
  • RSVP for events including Homecoming 2020
  • Be a short-term or long-term mentor
  • Find a mentor as a mentee
  • Meet other Thiel alumni in your city or industry

PeopleGrove is the technology partner powering Thiel Connects. PeopleGrove started as an after-work side project focused on helping young professionals find meaningful careers. It has grown into a sophisticated and professional community for today’s college students and professionals at over 250 campuses and organizations around.

About Thiel College

Thiel College is an independent college founded in the Lutheran tradition. Located in Greenville, Pa., the College offers 60 majors and minors, 24 varsity sports, and an 11:1 student-faculty ratio. The College is also home to a Master of Science in speech-language pathology, a Leadership Master of Business Administration and a Management Master of Business Administration. Both master’s degree programs offer innovative and accelerated five-year paths which allow students to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years. The speech-language pathology program also has an accelerated 15-month graduate-level program. The M.B.A. program also has a 12-month post-graduate program. A dedicated faculty paired with dynamic research and internship opportunities produce numerous graduate school and job placements.
