GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College women’s soccer head coach Becky Scroger recently announced the hiring of Emma Polinski ’20 as the program’s assistant coach.
Polinski earned a degree in business administration with a minor in environmental science in May.
Polinski was a four-time All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference selection, including three second-team nods. A native of Brunswick, Ohio and graduate of Trinity High School, Polinski recorded 26 points during her career with the Tomcats, the eighth-most in program history. She scored nine goals and registered eight assists.
A two-year captain, Polinski’s eight career assists tie her for the fifth-most in program history, and her seven assists in 2019 are the third-most in a single season in program history.
Polinski was a member of Thiel’s chapter of Sigma Kappa and served a stint as the sorority’s executive vice president. She was also the student government representative for Alpha Psi Omega, the national honor society in theatre.
