GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Five members of the Thiel Tomcat Marching Pride and Thiel Concert Band have been selected to participate in the 78th Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Band Festival, a prestigious statewide ensemble bringing together top collegiate musicians from across the Commonwealth.
The festival will be held March 6–8, in Lewisburg, Pa., and is hosted by Bucknell University and Juniata College. The Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Band Festival comprises 100 students representing colleges and universities throughout Pennsylvania.
During the three-day festival, students will rehearse and perform under the direction of Guest Conductor Frank Ticheli, a world-renowned composer and conductor. The event will conclude with a public performance at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, in the Weis Center for the Performing Arts at Bucknell University.
Thiel College students selected to participate are (student’s name followed by their hometown and the instrument they are playing).
