GREENVILLE, Pa.-- The Thiel College Concert Band, under the direction of Scott M. DiTullio, Ed.D. will present its Spring Concert, “From Stage & Screen,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, in the Passavant Center on the Thiel College campus. The concert is free and open to the public.
This year’s performance features an exciting lineup of music from popular films, television shows, and Broadway hits, showcasing the talent and hard work of Thiel’s student musicians. Audiences can expect to hear thrilling selections from Star Wars, Hamilton, The Lion King, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Incredibles, How to Train Your Dragon, and more.
The program also includes classic marches by John Philip Sousa and a spirited arrangement of “Defying Gravity” from the Broadway hit Wicked.
DiTullio, who joined Thiel College in 2021, brings nearly three decades of teaching and conducting experience to the ensemble. He is the Director of Bands and Lecturer in the Department of Music and Theatre and also serves as Director of the Prelude Band for the Pittsburgh Youth Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Thiel Concert Band includes students from a variety of majors and backgrounds, along with guest musicians.
