• Participate in Career Coaching/Peer Coaching offered by the Career Development Center
• Talk with faculty, advisor, coaches, or others about your choice of major and future career goals
• Complete Focus 2 or other career assessments (if undecided)
• Take elective courses to explore other interests/areas of study

Prepare

• Solidify choice of major/field of study & declare possible minors
• Set at least 2 career related goals & begin planning for opportunities
• Research jobs and their requirements in your field of study
• Update resume for all work, internship, and campus experiences
• Develop cover letter/draft your personal statement
• Consider research opportunities
• Begin to develop interview skills & participate in mock interviewing
• Monitor your social media presence

Engage

• Learn about Experiential Learning Opportunities/Internships
• Explore and plan for study abroad opportunities
• Research graduate school programs & their requirements
• Participate Professional Development Courses/Programs offered by Major
• Join & actively participate in athletics/clubs/other campus organizations
• Pursue student employment/summer job in alignment with major
• Search, apply and secure internship (summer)
• Attend an in person or virtual Job, Internship and Graduate School Fair

Network

• Continue to connect with alums on Thiel Connect
• Create LinkedIn Profile and begin building alumni and personal connections
• Attend Homecoming Career Conversation Panels & other alumni events
• Meet with on campus recruiters
