Professor, student to debut original documentary theatre performance “Berlin ist Gefallen!”

Thiel College Assistant Professor of Performing Arts Pete Rydberg, Ph.D., and student researcher Austin Hall ’17 are preparing to debut their original documentary theatre performance “Berlin ist Gefallen!” (“Berlin has fallen!”) on Sept. 9 and 10. Shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the William A. Robinson Theater.

The Thiel College Spring Semester Student Recital and Handbell Concert will be held April 26 at the David Johnson Memorial Chapel. In addition, the Thiel Choir will host its final spring concert of the year on May 1. Both productions are free and open to the public.

The curtain goes up on the Thiel Players' first fall production, "The Guys," on Sept. 11-12. The play by Anne Nelson will be performed in the College's William A. Robinson Theater. Opening night of the production takes place on the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, a central point for the story.
