Thiel Choirs

The Thiel Choir is a 45-voice auditioned choir that performs regularly on campus, in the community and tours annually. The choir tours internationally or on an extended domestic tour every four years.

The Thiel College Choir has enjoyed a long-standing reputation among college choirs since its founding in 1953. There are two choirs for students to be involved with, the Thiel Choir and the Thiel College Chamber Singers.

The Thiel Choir

Become a member of this 45-voice choir that performs regularly on campus, in the community and tours annually! Students from all academic fields are welcome to be a part of this exciting and creative group. Through the years the Thiel Choir has performed in the mid-western, eastern and southern regions of the United States and Canada, and has performed on nine European tours most recently to Austria, northern Italy, and Ireland. This year, the choir will tour Greece and the Aegean Sea!

The Thiel College Chamber Singers

After becoming a member of the Thiel Choir, students are able to join the Thiel College Chamber Singers. The 16 person vocal ensemble also performs at various events throughout the year. The Chamber Singers tour and perform along with the Thiel Choir.

Scholarships

The Thiel College Chamber Singers is a 16-voice auditioned vocal ensemble whose members also are members of the Thiel Choir and performs at various events throughout the academic year. Auditions are scheduled the first two days of the semester. Thiel Choir scholarships are available by scholarship auditions held in January or February.
