Dr. J.K. Rogers (Director) has worked professionally as a theatre artist and technician in numerous venues across the US and abroad. She is a Journeyman stagehand with IATSE Local 42 in Omaha and has also been affiliated with IATSE Locals 8 and 52 in Philadelphia and Local 675 in Eugene, Oregon. She has performed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island with Flock Theatre and has toured the Midwest from Ohio to Wyoming with the Nebraska Theatre Caravan as the Assistant Technical Director for A Christmas Carol. J.K. received her MAs in Theatre and English from the University of Nebraska Omaha; a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Writing (ADWR), also from UNO; and an MA in Arts Management and PhD in Theatre from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. When she is not doing theatre J.K. splits her time between expanding her palate sampling different cheeses and arguing with her cat over why he’s not allowed to have any.
