Thiel College was scheduled to be a host site for the American Heart Association Heart Walk at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Due to the pandemic, the in-person portion of the event has been canceled for off-campus groups, but campus groups will meet at the The Dr. Barry ’70 and Carol (Yeager) Stamm ’71 Track & Field Complex and walk an approximately two-mile path through downtown Greenville and ending at the Quad.

On Friday, Sept. 11, members of the Thiel College fraternity Kappa Sigma were joined by two volunteer firefighters from a nearby department to take part in a symbolic walk at the Town of Greenville’s Plimpton Graul Amphitheater in Riverside Park in memory of the first responders who perished in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
