A group of anonymous donors made a $150,000 gift to Thiel College for incoming president Susan Traverso, Ph.D., to use for the College at her discretion. The donors said they were “making the gift in honor of Thiel College’s 150-year history of educating men and women and with a deep belief in the promise of the leadership by Dr. Traverso.”

Susan Traverso, Ph.D., has been named the 20th president of Thiel College. Traverso has served as the provost and senior vice president at Elizabethtown College since 2007. She takes office in August as the first female president of Thiel College.

Thiel College announces its second annual summer media camp for high school students is July 11-15. Camp attendees will spend a week working with Thiel College’s high-definition television equipment and editing software in the state-of-the-art James Pedas Communication Center.
