Thiel College women’s basketball coach selected for 2025 NCAA Women Coaches Academy

GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College Women’s Basketball coach Jessica Vormelker ’19 has been selected for the 55th class of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy, hosted by WeCOACH. The program will take place November 16–18 in Indianapolis.

The WCA Class No. 55 includes 78 women coaches representing NCAA Divisions I, II and III, as well as the NAIA and NJCAA. Vormelker is one of three Presidents’ Athletic Conference coaches chosen for this year’s academy.

Vormelker, who also participated in the 2023 NCAA Basketball Coaches Academy, is entering her third season as Thiel’s head coach.

“To be considered amongst so many applicants and then selected as a participant of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy is truly a blessing and honor,” Vormelker said. “I look forward to bettering myself holistically as a leader and returning to the Women’s Basketball program at Thiel with new tools. Thank you to the WeCOACH team for believing I’d be an asset to the WCA Class No. 55.”
