GREENVILLE, Pa.-- The Thiel College men’s volleyball team will take on St. Joseph’s (Long Island, N.Y.) in the play-in round of the NCAA Tournament Thursday at Southern Virginia University. The start time for the match has not been finalized yet and will posted on the Thiel Athletics website and social media pages as soon as it is available.
With a victory, Thiel would advance to the first round for a matchup with host Southern Virginia.
The Tomcats capped a record-setting regular season by claiming the inaugural Presidents’ Athletic Conference championship with a sweep of Grove City Saturday in front of a raucous crowd at Menpa Court at Beeghly Gymnasium to earn the program’s first NCAA Tournament berth.
