GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College senior biology major Darshell Daniel ’25 and sophomore biology major Laci McCloe ’27 attended the Network of ELCA Colleges and Universities All Student Leaders Summit in Chicago recently.
The All NECU Student Leaders Summit was from Friday, September 6, through Sunday, September 8.
Daniel is from Johnstown, Pa. and is a 2021 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School.
McCloe is from Pittsburgh, Pa. and is a 2023 graduate of North Hills High School.
The purpose of this summit was to establish a gathering of student leaders to open a network of relationships that will support information sharing, increase collaboration, and deepen understanding of vocational identity. For students to experience connections between the “openness” of the mission of ELCA and diversity, equity, inclusion and justice initiatives at NECU institutions, and to promote and encourage student perspectives and voices throughout NECU institutions to develop collective advocacy and student movement initiatives.
