GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College student Seth Riley ’25 has taken ownership of Reynolds Lanes in Pymatuning Township and was profiled following the transaction in the Greenville, Pa. Record-Argus on Friday, Oct. 10.

Riley officially assumed ownership of the bowling center Oct. 1 from longtime proprietors Joe and Missy Furmanek. Following his December graduation, he plans to enroll in Thiel College’s Master of Business Administration program in January 2026. The Furmanek family operated Reynolds Lanes for 35 years.

Riley told the Record-Argus that growing up in Beaver Falls, Pa., he imagined owning a bowling alley. “So here we are. I am excited to see what happens. I love history. I now have a part of a storied history that I want to continue to build.”

Outgoing owner Joe Furmanek was optimistic in his comments to the newspaper. “I feel confident that Seth is going to move us forward in the direction that the bowling center needs to be moved. I’m wearing out and he’s fresh. Fresh ideas, fresh young body and mind. You have to move forward.”

The Record-Argus reported that Riley first became connected to the Greenville area through family trips to Pymatuning Lake, which ultimately led him to apply to Thiel College.
