Thiel College hosting Spring Choral Concert titled Seasons of Love

GREENVILLE, Pa.-- The Thiel College Music Department is hosting a spring choral concert for the College community at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, in the David Johnson Memorial Chapel.

The concert, “Seasons of Love,” features the Thiel Choir, the Thiel Singers, and the Thiel Barbershop Chorus, accompanied by Kathryn Miller. Organized by Brianne Sampson, Director of Choirs at Thiel, the pieces of music that will be performed all involve different types of love, through the many seasons of life. The event is free, open to the public and will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.

The Thiel College Choir has enjoyed a long-standing reputation among college choirs since its founding in 1953. It is an auditioned choir that performs regularly on campus and in the community. The choir tours internationally or on an extended domestic tour every four years. The Thiel College Chamber Singers is an auditioned vocal ensemble whose members also are members of the Thiel Choir and performs at various events throughout the academic year.
