GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Conneaut Area Senior High School senior Evan Gerber, of Hartstown, Pa., has been awarded an academic scholarship worth $129,000 to Thiel College in Greenville, Pa.
The scholarship announcement was made Monday morning at the high school with representatives of the school administration and Thiel College along with his family.
Gerber is considering being a business administration and finance major at Thiel College.
“We are excited about a student of Evan’s caliber joining our already nationally-recognized business department,” Vice President of Enrollment Management Ashley Josay Zullo said. “As a national Department of Distinction, Thiel College has a business program that welcomes and challenges our high-achieving students and gives them the tools to reach their personal and professional goals.”
He is a member of the National Honor Society and has been a high honors student.
He is a son of Ronald and Wendy Gerber, of Hartstown. His brother Wesley Gerber ’21 is a sophomore at Thiel College.
