Recruitment

Any student interested in joining a fraternity or sorority must participate during recruitment periods which take place twice during the academic year. These are known as Formal Recruitment and Informal Recruitment. Students who join must also meet the following minimum requirements:

• Have a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 (High School GPA for First-Year students)
• Sign a grade release form
• Have not accepted a bid from a fraternity or sorority chapter within the previous year

Women's Organizations

Women's Panhellenic Fall 2025 Formal Recruitment concluded with Bid Day on Friday, September 19. There is no cost associated with participating in recruitment, and no commitments are expected until signing a bid from an organization. 

Registration for Fall 2026 Formal Recruitment will open in early August.

Men's Organizations 

Our fraternities recruit year-round. All men considering or interested in joining are encouraged to attend each fraternity's recruitment to receive a bid (i.e., an invitation). Fraternities will announce and promote their individual events during the semester.
