Be part of the pack! Welcome Weekend is an important part of your Thiel education—it is the beginning of four years that will shape your future. This program is designed to help you with the transition to college, to lay out the College’s expectations of you and educate you about various on-campus opportunities.
You will also receive a mailing in August with information about your move-in times on Friday, Aug. 24. Contact the Director of First-Year Experience and Transition Programs Angelica Perez-Johnston at email@example.com with any questions.
Please report to the Beeghly Gymnasium parking lot located off of College Ave. Follow signs for Welcome Weekend. Once you arrive, you will pull through a convenient "drive-in" for new student check-in. Students will receive their weekend schedule and other important information for the day. If you have not finalized your financial aid package or business account information, you will be directed to meet with a Thiel representative prior to moving into your residence hall.
Please be sure to complete and return your Financial Arrangement and Medical Records paperwork. We are unable to allow you to progress through the move-in process until this paperwork is received. For questions about your Financial Arrangement paperwork, please contact Student Accounts Supervisor Stacey Yake at 724-589-2810 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. For questions about the Medical Records paperwork, please contact the Director of Student Health Services Chris Cianci at 724-589-2195 or email@example.com.
Residential transfer student check-in is at 11 a.m. in the Division of Student Life office, located in the Howard Miller Student Center.
Commuter student check-in at 11:00 a.m. in the Beeghly Gymnasium.
Move-in times are staggered so that orientation volunteers can assist you with the heavy work of carrying items up the steps. Please help us make the process a smooth one by arriving promptly at your scheduled time.
