Welcome Weekend is an important part of your Thiel experience—it is the beginning of four years that will shape your future. This program is designed to help you with the transition to college, to educate you about various on-campus opportunities, and to help you to begin forming lifelong friendships with your classmates. Together, we are Tomcat strong!
Students participating in activities and athletic programs that have an August camp, will receive more specific move-in information from your respective coach or instructor. All students will also receive an email with information about move-in day on Sunday, August 16.
While the official move-in date for incoming first-year students is Aug. 16, Thiel College Residence Life has organized for students move their belongings into campus housing August 2-7 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in advance of staying on campus. This is to minimize the number of individuals on campus and in the residence halls. Students may be accompanied by two other people to assist with move-in. All students and moving helpers must report to the gym parking lot upon arrival to campus for a temperature screening.
What to bring?
We want to make sure you have everything ready before you come to campus to begin the fall 2020 semester. Watch the video below to see what you should bring (or not bring) on your selected move-in day.
Please contact Director of Residence Life Bob Phillips ’08 at email@example.com if you have any questions regarding your move-in time.
Please be sure to complete and return your Financial Arrangement and Medical Records paperwork. We are unable to allow you to progress through the move-in process until this paperwork is received. For questions about your Financial Arrangement paperwork, please contact Student Accounts Supervisor Stacey Yake at 724-589-2810 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. For questions about the Medical Records paperwork, please contact the Student Health Services at Health_Services@thiel.edu.
