Thiel College education majors are studying Eric Jensen's book, "Teaching with Poverty in Mind: What being poor does to kids' brains and what schools can do about it" in Dr. Doug Hazlett's class. The book details the cognitive and physical changes that happen in young developing brains continually burdened with stress.
