Thiel College welcomes Pete Rydberg, Ph.D. as Assistant Professor of Performing Arts and Director of the Thiel Players, a position he will assume this fall. Prior to his appointment at Thiel College, Rydberg was an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Theatre and Music at Viterbo University, La Crosse, Wis.

Thiel College welcomed Martin Black as Associate Dean for Career Development, a position he began in July. Prior to his appointment at Thiel College, Black was the assistant dean for career development at Brandeis University's Heller School in Waltham, Mass. He also worked as director of career services and then director of employee relations at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College in Pittsburgh.

Thiel College welcomes the Rev. Jayne Thompson as campus pastor, a position she will assume on August 12. Rev. Thompson comes to Thiel College from University Lutheran Church of the Epiphany and Lutheran Campus Ministry, St. Cloud, Minn. where she has served as campus congregation pastor since 2005.
