Area high school students and their parents are invited to attend one of these informative sessions to learn about the college financial aid process and receive personal one-on-one assistance with filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The Thiel Choir is hitting the road for its annual spring tour in March. Each year, under the direction of Dr. Michael Bray, director of choral activities, and accompanied by pianist Kathryn A. Gray, the student choir performs a largely a cappella program in Lutheran churches throughout the eastern United States.

Thiel College welcomed Chief Eric Allen as chief of police/director of public safety, a position he assumed on Nov. 1. Allen comes to Thiel College from the Koppel Borough Police Department in Koppel, Pa., where he served as assistant chief of police. He has more than a decade of experience in policing, including work at both Carlow University, where he served as detective, and Penn State McKeesport.
