GREENVILLE, Pa.-- The Thiel College Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is collaborating with the College’s Women Inspiring the Next Generation club to host events during the month of March in celebration of Women’s History Month.
The schedule of events begins at 3 p.m. today with the Director of Multicultural Affairs and Associate Dean of Students at the College of Wooster, Lillian Evans, leads a conversation about women in leadership and networking. The event is in the Stamm Lecture Hall of the James Pedas Communication Center. Evans attended the University of Mount Union where she received her Bachelor of Science in early childhood education. She earned a masters in higher education administration and student personnel from Kent State University. Evans has a passion for developing students outside of the classroom and is an advocate for social justice on and off campuses.
