Thiel College hosting hundreds of students, representatives for Mercer County college fair

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Hundreds of students and representatives from higher education, military branches and trade schools will be at Thiel College from 9-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 as the College hosts the Mercer County Guidance Counselor College Fair in the Rissell-Beeghly Gymnasia on the Thiel College campus.

The fair is free and open to the public.

Around 100 colleges, universities and technical schools, as well as businesses and armed forces representatives, will be on hand to distribute materials and talk with students and other interested members of the community about colleges and career choices. About 800 high school students from Mercer County high schools will be on campus for the college fair.

About Thiel College

Thiel College is an independent college founded in the Lutheran tradition. Located in Greenville, Pa., the College offers 60 majors and minors, 24 varsity sports, and an 11:1 student-faculty ratio. The College is also home to a Master of Science in speech-language pathology, a Leadership Master of Business Administration and a Management Master of Business Administration.
