Business administration major named Thiel Team member of the month for November

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Kara Sokol ’23, of Sutersville, Pa., was recently named the Office of Admission Thiel Team Member of the Month for November.

Sokol is a business administration finance major and a 2019 Yough High School graduate. She is a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority.

Sokol said the best thing about Thiel College is the people.

“I have met my very best friends here and some of the most kind-hearted professors,” Sokol said. “They all go out of the way to help anyone who may need help. It doesn’t matter if they have known you for four years or four seconds. The people are always willing to help.”

The Thiel Team comprises of students employed by the Office of Admission. The students primarily serve as ambassadors for prospective students and their families, but they are also responsible for a variety of other jobs and including work on mailings, market research, telemarketing, event support, and other administrative, professional, and office duties.

About Thiel College

Thiel College is an independent college founded in the Lutheran tradition. Located in Greenville, Pa., the College offers 60 majors and minors, 24 varsity sports, and an 11:1 student-faculty ratio. The College is also home to a Master of Science in speech-language pathology, a Leadership Master of Business Administration and a Management Master of Business Administration.
