Thiel College, a leading liberal arts college in northwest Pennsylvania, will exhibit “Truths and Fictions: Paintings and Drawings by Terry McKelvey” from Jan. 18 to Feb. 16 in the Weyers-Sampson Gallery of the Howard Miller Student Center. Thiel College Adjunct Professor of Education Julie Harris dressed as the Lorax and visited students at Jamestown Elementary School on Dec. 21. She read the “Lorax” by Dr. Seuss and gave away books to students. The event is part of Thiel College’s involvement with the United Way of Mercer County’s Adopt-A-School program.
