GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College has a full schedule of opportunities to visit campus this spring
Starting with Saturday’s fully booked visit day, the schedule continues with Monday’s Accepted Student Day where students will sit in on a class and explore campus independently and get important next-step information, which includes orientation dates and move-in details. On March 25, the Office of Admission will be hosting a Spring Open house.
The College is also hosting specialty events Business for a Day (March 31), Communication for a Day (April 14) and Sciences for a Day (April 21). Each of these academic subject days include opportunities for prospective students to take a class and for high school faculty members from around the region to be recognized with an award. The teachers were nominated based on the impact they had on a Thiel student and that was followed by an online vote with the teacher receiving the most votes winning a $250 gift card and another $500 gift card for the teacher’s classroom.
“Attending a visit day at Thiel College is like getting a sneak peek at a really cool club before becoming a member. Visit days at Thiel are a chance to see first-hand the vibrant community that is launching the leaders the world needs now,” Director of Admission Sonya Lapikas said. “During visit days, visitors can meet current students and faculty members who are excited to share the benefits of a Thiel education. Visitors will tour campus and see all the hidden gems, like the trolley car from Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, the state-of-the-art podcasting studio or why the main street on campus is named in honor of famed women’s pioneer and aviator Amelia Earhart. A visit day at Thiel College is like getting a backstage pass to an exclusive concert.”
In addition to visit day events, individual tours can be scheduled by contacting the Office of Admission.
New student summer orientations begin May 20 and will also be held June 12, 13, 23 and July 10.
