Performance poet, author, activist and film producer Natasha T. Miller joins the Thiel College community for its celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. events Jan. 15-16. She will be the keynote speaker at both the 7:30 p.m. Sunday “Be The Dream” kickoff program and the 4 p.m. Monday interfaith community service. Both events are in the David Johnson Memorial Chapel on the campus of Thiel College.

John ’71 and Nancy (Gibson) Hauser ’75 will receive the Louis and Barbara Thiel Distinguished Service Award at Thiel College’s Founders’ Day celebration at 11 a.m. Feb. 2 in the Lutheran Heritage Room of the Howard Miller Student Center.

Professor of Business, Administration and Accounting and Department Chair Gary Witosky ’79 will begin the semester as Thiel College’s first David M. Miller Endowed Chair of Accounting in January. Witosky received the appointment in late September, during Thiel’s Homecoming 2016 celebrations.
