Dr. Louis Zona, executive director of the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio, will present "300 Years of American Art" at Thiel College on March 27 at 7 p.m. in the Lutheran Heritage Room of the Howard Miller Student Center. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Thiel College will host free Financial Aid Nights on Feb. 12 and 19 in Thiel's Academic Center. Area high school students and their parents are invited to attend one of these informative sessions to learn about the college financial aid process and receive personal one-on-one assistance with filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The Thiel Choir is hitting the road for its annual spring tour in March. Each year, under the direction of Dr. Michael Bray, director of choral activities, and accompanied by pianist Kathryn A. Gray, the student choir performs a largely a cappella program in Lutheran churches throughout the eastern United States.
