Thiel education celebrates 100% placement for 2022 graduates, student-teacher assignments

GREENVILLE, Pa.--
The Thiel College Education Department’s May 2022 graduates have achieved a 100 percent placement rate by securing employment or graduate program enrollment within three months of graduation.
“The Education Department is pleased to announce that 100% of our Elementary PK-4 and Special Education PK-12 graduates have officially secured jobs in the field of education!” said Assistant Professor of Education Kara Schreckenghost.
Thirteen education graduates from the Class of 2022 secured jobs following their graduation, one graduate acquired a long-term substitute teaching position, and one graduate has chosen to enroll in a graduate program. The graduates and their placements are as follows:
- Brianna Bialota ’22, Fourth grade general education at Eagle Nest Elementary in North Charleston/Summerville, N.C.
- Allyson Campbell ’22, Daycare and Preschool Palace personnel
- Courtney Gassner ’22, Lead teacher at Tender Care Learning Centers in Hermitage, Pa.
- Courtney Grubbs ’22, Erie Rise Academy, second grade boys
- Emily Harriman ’22, K-3 grade intervention specialist tutor at Cork Elementary School
- Alexis Jewell ’22, K-6 emotional support teacher at Farrell Area School District
- Adrieanna Kimble ’22, Creative Preschool of Sharpsville
- Derek Knapp ’22, Warren Area Elementary Center, third grade
- Daniel Lutz ’22, Kindergarten teacher at Meadowview Elementary in Milford, Ohio
- Taylor Lutz ’22, fourth grade at Orange Elementary
- Ava Park ’22, High school learning support teacher at Keystone Charter School
- Kaylia Pham ’22, Lead teacher at Tutor Time Preschool in Pittsburgh
- Sydnee Pilarski ’22, enrolled in graduate program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pa.
- Logan Pistorius ’22, long-term substitute teacher at Karns City, 11th grade world cultures
- Abigaile Triskett ’22, Intervention specialist tutor at Cork Elementary School
As part of the Department of Education’s program, Bailee Gregor ’23, of Meadville, Pa., and Taylor Warner ’23, of Greenville, Pa., are in local school districts this fall for their student-teaching assignments.
Gregor, a 2018 Meadville High School graduate, will be teaching at Greenville High School and Elementary School.
Warner, a 2018 Greenville High School graduate, will be teaching at West Middlesex Elementary School.
