GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College is accepting nominations from its science curriculum students for high school science teachers who are difference makers with its inaugural Science Educator of the Year contest.
The College is asking students to nominate educators who inspire students, exhibit passion for the sciences and serve as role models for students.
Five finalists will be selected from the nominations with the Science Educator of the Year chosen from the finalists. The finalists and overall winner will be awarded individual prizemoney as well as prizemoney to be used for classroom materials.
The finalists and winner will be recognized during the College’s science-themed Major Discover Day in February 2022. Also recognized during the event will be one or more Thiel alumni who have made significant contributions to the sciences.
