Thiel College BBQ visit days offer prospective students personalized campus experience

GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College, a leading liberal arts college in northwest Pennsylvania, will host a set of Summer BBQ visit days for the third straight year.

The College’s Office of Admission is hosting separate events on June 18 and July 27. Following the success of past events, the Office of Admission is using the summer months to offer high school students two opportunities to learn about campus resources and academic departments, meet with faculty and coaches, tour the campus, and enjoy food and fun with potential classmates.

“The summer months serve as a great time for prospective students to begin evaluating colleges. The relaxed atmosphere and smaller number of students on campus create a truly personalized feel for each of our guests,” Vice President for Enrollment Management Ashley Josay Zullo said. “The individualized attention our visitors get at the summer BBQ events is representative of what their experience as students will be like.”

Event Schedule

• 9-9:30 a.m. — Check-in and continental  breakfast
• 9:30-9:40 a.m. — Welcome
• 9:40-9:55 a.m. — Admission presentation
• 10-11:30 — Interactive campus tour
• 11:30-12:15 — Faculty breakout sessions
• 12:15 — BBQ picnic luncheon
