GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Kevin Hart was recently named the assistant director of sports information at Thiel College.
Hart graduated from Westminster College (Pa.) in 2019. Majoring in sports management and business administration, he was a seven-semester Dean's List student and graduated magna cum laude with a 3.88 cumulative grade-point average.
Hart served under Nathan LaRiccia, Westminster's sports information director, as a student assistant for more than two years while completing his undergraduate work. Also at Westminster, Hart assisted the football coaching staff and served as a resident assistant.
In the summer of 2019, Hart served as a stadium operations intern for the Washington Wild Things. He was a student sales ambassador for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the spring of 2018.
Hart was a volunteer for the 2019 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Tournament, which was held at PPG Paints Arena. He also worked in a variety of roles for Pitt football games, completing an internship with JMI Sports Marketing in 2019 and serving as a volunteer for IMG Sports Marketing in 2018.
A native of Shaler, Pa., Hart attended the Pennsylvania Sports Business Conference in 2019 and 2018. He also participated in the Pittsburgh Steelers Public Relations Summit in 2019 and the University of Michigan Sports Business Conference in 2018.
