GREENVILLE, Pa.--
Each member of the 2025 Greenville High School Distinguished Hall of Fame class shares a connection to Thiel College as an alumnus, employee, or supporter. The inductees will be recognized during a ceremony Saturday, Sept. 20.
This year’s honorees are Fred Kiser ’66, Roberta Leonard, Barry ’75 and Linda (Dean) Oman ’74, and the late David Baughman. Their selection underscores the long-standing relationship between Greenville High School, Thiel College, and the local community.
- Kiser served as a guidance counselor at Greenville High School for 37 years and held leadership roles with the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Mercer County Trails Association.
- Leonard, a 1987 Greenville High School graduate, is vice president for college advancement at Thiel. She secures funding for the College’s programs and serves as president of Greenville Rotary.
- Barry and Linda Oman, though not Greenville High School graduates, were classmates at Thiel and later returned to Greenville to support the community. Barry has served on the Thiel College Board of Trustees, the Blue-Gold Club Committee, and as a volunteer football coach. Linda has been active with the Thiel Women’s Club and serves on the Thiel Athletics Hall of Fame Committee.
- Baughman will be inducted posthumously in recognition of his service to Greenville and its students. The David E. Baughman Scholarship at Thiel supports graduates of Jamestown, Greenville, Commodore Perry, or Reynolds high schools who enroll in four-year programs at the College.
