GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Four Thiel College psychology students presented their research at the Western Pennsylvania Undergraduate Psychology Conference earlier this spring.
The 53rd annual conference took place at Gannon University in Erie, Pa. and highlights undergraduate research across all psychology fields. Psychology majors Gracie Mosko ’27, Sylvia Novak ’27, and Teagan Geiser ’26 and health systems major Emmalea Zummo ’27 participated in the conference.
“We are so proud of these students for representing our institution and contributing to important conversations in psychological science,” Thiel College Associate Professor of Psychology Kristel Gallagher, Ph.D. said. “Their work reflects both academic rigor and a commitment to addressing meaningful, real-world issues.”
The conference was held on April 11. Thiel hosted the event in 2023 when Gallagher was conference chair.
The faculty advisors for these presentations were Gallagher for Mosko, Novak, and Zummo and Associate Professor of Psychology Shannon Deets, Ph.D. for Geiser. Three of the projects were developed through Thiel’s Passion-Driven Statistics course and one in the Independent Research in Psychology course.
