GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College announces Jessica Campbell ’19, of West Sunbury, Pa., and Zachary Stiglitz ’19, of Knox, Pa., are the Students of the Month honorees for March 2019.
The Student of the Month is awarded to seniors on the basis of their academic and co-curricular achievements. It is among the most prestigious student awards at Thiel College, with only about six students each semester earning the honor.
Campbell is a biochemistry major with a concentration in pre-pharmacy. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, Order of Omega Greek leadership society, Les Lauriers scholarship, leadership and service honorary society, the American Chemical Society, and the Dietrich Honors Institute.
Campbell was the recipient of the Charles ’57 and Edna Semroc Endowed Scholarship for three years as well as the American Chemical Society Penn-Ohio Border Section Sophomore Award. Post-graduation she will be attending Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
A 2016 graduate of Moniteau Jr./Sr. High School, Campbell is the daughter of Michael and Lynn Campbell of West Sunbury, Pa.
Stiglitz is a business administration major with a concentration in marketing and advertising and a minor in economics. He is a seven-time member of the Dean’s List, a resident assistant, and a participant in the Global Club, Chi Eta Sigma business honorary society, and Chi Alpha Sigma national college athlete honor society.
He is also a volunteer coach for Keystone High School and is currently working to obtain certification as a personal trainer. He was also a student intern for the Thiel College Office of Communications and Marketing. Stiglitz, a 2015 graduate of Keystone Jr./Sr. High School, is the son of John and Kelly Stiglitz, of Knox, Pa.
