Thiel College was scheduled to be a host site for the American Heart Association Heart Walk at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Due to the pandemic, the in-person portion of the event has been canceled for off-campus groups, but campus groups will meet at the The Dr. Barry ’70 and Carol (Yeager) Stamm ’71 Track & Field Complex and walk an approximately two-mile path through downtown Greenville and ending at the Quad.

On Friday, Sept. 11, members of the Thiel College fraternity Kappa Sigma were joined by two volunteer firefighters from a nearby department to take part in a symbolic walk at the Town of Greenville’s Plimpton Graul Amphitheater in Riverside Park in memory of the first responders who perished in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Thiel College plans to resume in-person campus instruction this fall. Following the guidelines and recommendations of the Pennsylvania departments of Health and Education, the Governor's office, and federal agencies, the College is implementing a new schedule for the fall semester, enhancing its technological capacity, and establishing new health and safety protocols.
