Thiel College will welcome four outstanding former student-athletes into its Athletic Hall of Fame, Director of Athletics Jack Leipheimer '74 announced on Wednesday. The Hall's 34th induction class will include Patsy Combine '70 (football), Les McClimans '72 (men's golf), and Don Walters '71 (football).

The 44th annual Phi Theta Phi Fraternity Walk-a-thon for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh's Free Care Fund is Dec. 6 and 7. Over the course of the event's history, Phi Theta Phi has raised more than $1.25 million for the fund. This year's goal is $40,000.

Thiel College today announced that Jacquelyn P. Muller has been appointed vice president for communication and marketing, a position she will assume on November 18. Muller has more than 20 years of higher education experience in integrated communications, media relations, reputation management and branding, advertising, and public affairs.
