GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College senior Ava Kavulla ’25 and sophomore Anna Kavulla ’27 created the College’s Christmas greeting card.

The watercolor image of Greenville Hall, the oldest building on campus, and the calligraphy were hand-painted by the sisters, who also operate A Pastel Petal. Their company offers watercolor and calligraphy products like greeting cards, stickers, canvases, and painted stones.

Ava Kavulla, of Sharpsville, Pa., is an elementary education and special education major and a 2021 home school graduate. Anna Kavulla, of Sharpsville, Pa., is a business administration major and a 2023 home school graduate.

The Kavulla’s are members of the Thiel College Haller Enterprise Institute.

The card was distributed to approximately 500 people and institutions on the College’s mailing list.

“What a joy to highlight the entrepreneurial and creative talent of Anna and Ava,” President Susan Traverso, Ph.D. said. “The watercolor featuring Greenville Hall is a great way to share the beauty of this important and historic building. Showcasing their artistic and business talent with the Thiel community was one of the highlights of the holiday.”
