Independent Shuttle Drivers (Seasonal, Part-Time)

Thiel College seeks independent seasonal shuttle drivers who will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from the Pittsburgh International Airport and Pittsburgh Intermodal Bus Station. Drivers will be expected to operate shuttle vehicles (cars or vans owned by the College) in a safe and efficient manner, maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, and provide an overall positive experience for passengers (primarily students). This position is ideal for individuals looking to make a little extra money around holidays and other break periods at the College.

Responsibilities:

• Transport passengers to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner
• Follow pre-planned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving a Thiel shuttle vehicle
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate department

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Complete ACT 153 background
• Sign a confidentiality agreement
• Ability to operate shuttle vehicles
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow directions and schedules
• Previous shuttle driving experience preferred
• References
