Clinical Adjunct Nursing Instructor

Thiel College seeks vibrant candidates to serve as adjunct faculty in our baccalaureate level Nursing program. Faculty collaborate with the Program Director to support the program’s mission and ensure compliance with CCNE accreditation standards. A dedicated passion for helping students reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment is essential to this position. Responsibilities primarily include teaching and student supervision.

Qualifications:

• Teaching in a higher education setting is preferred but not required; effective communication and collaborative skills in a team-oriented environment and a history of successful time management
• Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Psych or pediatric nursing experience preferred, other specialty areas welcome
• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required; Ph.D or D.N.P preferred. Candidates who are near completion of their Master’s degree in Nursing will also be considered
• Must have current unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania
• Knowledge of BSN-level assessment of clinical education preferred

Essential Functions:

• Teach assigned courses within our Nursing Program to meet lab and clinical needs
• Contribute to curriculum development to ensure student learning objectives are met
• Monitor student progress and contribute to remediation when necessary
• Assist with CCNE accreditation activities
• Maintain licensure and/or certification
