GREENVILLE, Pa.—A new print exhibition will be displayed in Thiel College’s Weyers-Sampson Art Gallery, with the opening reception taking place at noon Thursday, October 20, 2022.
Thiel’s Professor of Painting and Curator of Art, Sean McConnor, and students from his printmaking course have curated and will present a group of prints selected from the College’s permanent collection of art. Students will present a brief history of the artist and work chosen during the opening reception. Short written descriptions authored by the students will accompany each print.
The exhibition will run through to December 5, 2022 and is free and open to the public. Hours for the gallery are 8 to 10 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The gallery will be closed from November 23 to 27, during the college’s Thanksgiving Break.
