Five students from Pennsylvania and Atlantic region awarded scholarships to Thiel College

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College awarded five high school students from Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania $16,000 Leadership Scholarships recently.

A scholarship competition was held on campus in early February. Applicants were interviewed by faculty and staff and were judged on variety of criteria, including academic record, co-curricular activities and civic and community engagement.

“We are excited to congratulate the recipients of our prestigious Leadership Scholarships at Thiel College. Their outstanding achievements and demonstrated leadership qualities set them apart,” Thiel College Director of Admission Sonya Lapikas said. “Their dedication to academic excellence, community involvement, and leadership initiatives were outstanding. We believe that they embody the qualities of a future leader who will undoubtedly make a significant impact in their chosen field and beyond. This scholarship is a testament to their hard work, commitment, and potential to excel, and we are excited to see how they will contribute to our vibrant campus community. We are confident that Thiel College will provide them with the resources, mentorship, and opportunities needed to further cultivate their leadership skills. We look forward to welcoming these students to our campus and witnessing their continued growth and success.”
