Thiel participates in Adopt-A-Classroom program at Jamestown and Greenville elementary schools

GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College Adjunct Professor of Education Julie Harris dressed as the Lorax and visited students at Jamestown Elementary School on Dec. 21. She read the “Lorax” by Dr. Seuss and gave away books to students. The event is part of Thiel College’s involvement with the United Way of Mercer County’s Adopt-A-School program.

On Dec. 8, students Justin Zinsmeister ’18 and Sam Sesti III ’18 read to the students at Greenville’s Hempfield Elementary School. Other members of the education honorary society Kappa Delta Pi distributed books to students.
