Thiel Learning Commons recognizes Johnson, Mirich as Extraordinary Effort students

GREENVILLE, Pa.-- The Thiel Learning Commons Extraordinary Effort Award recipients for November are Trou Johnson ’21 and Mikayla Mirich ’21.

Johnson, of Penn Hills, Pa., is a senior media and journalism major and a 2017 graduate of Penn Hills High School. He is a member of the football team, a peer mentor and a resident assistant.

Mirich, of Canonsburg, Pa., is a senior majoring in business administration, criminal justice, and sociology, and she is minoring in Spanish. A 2017 graduate of Peters Township High School, Mirich is a member of the equestrian team and has served as a resident assistant.
