GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Classes begin in July for Thiel College’s Master of Arts in Communication and Leadership—western Pennsylvania’s only graduate degree that combines leadership and communication.
Thiel College’s 11-month innovative degree will help students improve the skills of clear communication and effective leadership. The strategic balance of classroom and experiential learning gives students the expertise and confidence to understand their audience and communicate a clear message, as they persuade and influence those around them.
An online information session is at 6 p.m. Wednesday. It will be co-hosted by Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of the College and program director Elizabeth Frombgen, Ph.D.
“The time is right for this new offering and that there is demand for a graduate degree program that offers the value of a master’s degree that integrates strong components of communication skills and ethics with leadership development,” Frombgen said. “This innovative design is offered at few institutions and is the only one in western Pennsylvania. What differentiates Thiel is the experiential learning opportunities we established with our M.B.A. model that will be replicated in this program.”
The program joins the College’s first graduate programs Master of Business Administration and Speech-Language Pathology. Classes also begin in July for the College’s first class of Physician Assistant graduate students.
