GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College will celebrate its ninth annual community festival, Winter Fest, in the Rissell-Schreyer Dome from 4:30—8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7.
The event is free and open to the public, but some attractions require the purchase of tickets.
“The dome opening is an exciting opportunity for the campus and the Greenville community to get together and celebrate Winter Fest in a warm and fun atmosphere,” Director of Student Activities and Involvement Than Oo said. “The games, inflatables and performances create a festival environment that is sheltered from the chilly winter temperatures.”
Among the scheduled activities:
The Rissell-Schreyer Dome is open for community access during the winter and spring months. Dome access is free for community members wishing to use the facility to walk. Access for walkers is Monday through Friday, from 8-11 a.m. The Dome closes during all school breaks and during athletic practices. A golf driving range will be available in the Dome beginning in early January and will be open from 8-11 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
