Thiel College Homecoming 2015 theme is ‘Forever Gold’

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College will celebrate the College’s annual autumn tradition of Homecoming with the theme “Forever Gold,” on Oct. 9-11.

“We wanted a theme that captures our alumni’s enduring connection to their alma mater. And who doesn’t love gold and appreciate its associations with value and importance,” Director of Alumni Relations Kraig R. Smith ’12 said. “We are looking forward to the Thiel 2016 Gala on Friday evening, as well as the other events Saturday that recognize and celebrate Thiel College’s traditions. The ‘Forever Gold’ theme is an opportunity for alumni, students and friends of the College to show off their Tomcat pride and lots of gold."

Activities are scheduled throughout the weekend. Homecoming 2015 kicks off Friday morning with alumni registration and hospitality. The festivities continue through the day with student and alumni networking events, receptions, and culminate with a student pep rally and bonfire. Friday’s marquee event is the black tie Thiel 2016 Gala where President Troy D. VanAken, Ph.D., will make a historic announcement.

A full slate of events is scheduled for Saturday, including reunions, the Tomcat Kids Zone, parade, football game and marching band performance.
